International award-giving body WAN-IFRA Asia Media awarded this GOLD in 2012. This was part of a series of infographics that ran on Gulf News' Friday Magazine about how stuff works. I chose this topic since it was close to my heart. I play guitar myself so this infographic was easy and very enjoyable to do, from research to writing to illustration 🙂 My then intern, Talha Khan, contributed on this one.
