A Lucid Dream (LD) is a dream in which the person is aware that they are dreaming, and is most often caused by a raised level of awareness when asleep and in the dreaming phase. Dreamers are then ableto control the dreamscape, summon characters, and for the metaphysically inclined, experience astral projection, dream sharing, and precognitive dreams.
